Services: Child and Family Services is a non-profit corporation who provide a full range of child welfare services. While committed to the protection of children, staff use a family centered approach to empower and strengthen families. CFS works in partnership with community to support and strengthen families to ensure the well-being of children and youth. Services: Offer programs to support families in the Portage la Prairie area. These include programs for pregnant and new moms, parent-child programs, nutrition programs, parent education programs, and other programs designed to help families, including: Drop-ins - Family Drop-in, Parent Drop-in, Family Fun Days.

Services: Provides outreach and meaningful recreation experiences to children and youth who would otherwise not be able to benefit from participating in recreation or leisure opportunities. Services are provided geared towards youth aged 6-12 for camp activities but families with younger and older children can also participate in other ROK programming. Low-income families and youth can receive support from ROK to access additional opportunities. Opportunities with ROK focus on creativity, self-esteem building, meeting new people, health & fitness education, and reducing instances of depression, suicide and substance abuse.

Services: Wawokiya is a network of service providers who work to bring together supports for clients and work as a team to resolve system issues that prevent people from reaching their goals. Wawokiya works with people who are involved with numerous community resources and are having trouble accessing help OR are not connected to any resources and need help.
